Hi,

please forward and distribute as wide as possible if you live in the UK!

It has been brought to attention that the government wish to consider it a legal requirement in the new tax year to introduce laws insisting anyone applying or re-applying for an entertainment license must have a noise control device fitted to the venue. This will be the final NAIL for ALL entertainment in the UK as the level at which these devices CUT you off is dreadfully low and damaging.

PLEASE DO NOT INTRODUCE THIS LAW, WE LOVE LIVE MUSIC! http://petitions.number10.gov.uk/NoNoiseControl/

Personally, I hate loud music, specially in tavernes etc. I mean, I'd actually like to be able to hear the people with whom I'm eating/having coffee. As for concerts, I guess those will always be loud. But what about acoustic stuff? I mean, surely, they don't expect people to use any kind of device there. In any case, I don't think the government should have the right to control things like this. It's a personal choice. If I don't like loud music, I just won't go to the places tht have it. No one's forcing me to go there.
